MosBuild’s 20th edition sets the industry pace

In April 2014 the 20th edition of MosBuild - Russia’s largest building and interiors exhibition, will be held across Moscow’s exhibition venues, Expocentre and V.V.C.

With UFI approved status, MosBuild is not only the largest building & interior event in Russia but also one of the top 5 construction exhibitions in the world.

MosBuild’s global strength comes from its three dedicated events; Building & Interiors, Fenestration and Cersanex.

Building & Interiors will take place from 1-4 April 2014 at Expocentre (Moscow’s central exhibition venue) and will showcase the latest products in the industry through its 10 dedicated exhibitions; building materials & equipment, hardware & tools, country construction, interior finishes, doors & locks, flooring, wall décor, lighting & electrics, decotex and paints & coatings. As the largest of the three events, the exhibition annually attracts 1,500 exhibiting companies from more than 40 countries.

The 2014 edition is set to be another success, with well-known industry brands such as Tegola, Terchnonikol, Izorok, BASF, Bostik, Decolux, Amigo, Caparol, Barausse, Lendor, Doorhan, Albes, Spetsstroy, Steelinvest, Market Square, Rasch, KT exclusive, Parketoff, Bask, and many others having already confirmed their participation.

Fenestration runs alongside Building & Interiors at Moscow’s ‘All-Russia Exhibition Centre’ (V.V.C.) and focuses on the major developments in the windows, facades, gates and automation industry. Comprising 5 specialised sectors: windows & profiles, facades, architectural glass, gates & automation and fireproof equipment, the 2014 edition is expected to attract more than 250 companies from 19 countries.

The third event, Cersanex, will again run in its own dedicated week from the 15-18 April 2014 and bring together leading players in the ceramic tile, stone, swimming pool and bathroom industries. Through the support of professional associations: Confidustria Ceramica and Confidustria Marmomacchine (Italy) as well as ASCER (Spain), MosBuild Cersanex 2014 will provide companies with international industry exposure.

Already confirmed for the 2014 edition are industry renowned brands; Kerama Marazzi, Atlas Concorde, Italon ( Porcelain Factory ), Granitifiandre, Keraminum , Sokol , Ceramica Aparici, Peronda, Domoff Group, Roca Group, Vitra, Villeroy & Boch, TOTO, Colorobbia, Sibelco among many others.

Held alongside MosBuild 2014 will be a series of business and competitive events, each of which, through detailed discussion of issues and strategies, are aimed at specific areas of the construction industry, building materials market and architecture and design industry. On the 2014 agenda Russia’s push towards environmental awareness is again a hot topic, highlighted by the return of the e3Awards and e3forum-two key events focused on raising the awareness of eco-friendly products and energy efficiency in construction and architecture.

The International Sales Director at ITE Group Plc, Darryl Pawsey, comments that “MosBuild is continuing to lead the way and set industry standards in Russia. Its 20th edition highlights its ability to move with the times and stay relevant within the industry.  We are delighted to yet again welcome so many international companies to MosBuild 2014 and are on target for another successful event.”
